1. About Us

Internet76 is a web services business operating in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We provide web hosting, domain registration, web design, AI chatbot development, custom coding, and related consulting services.

2. Services

Our services are provided on the terms set out in each individual service agreement, quote, or invoice. By accepting a quote or making payment, you agree to the scope of work and pricing described in that document.

We reserve the right to decline any project or terminate any service relationship at our discretion, with reasonable notice provided to the client.

3. Payment

Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal. By making a payment, you agree to the terms of the applicable payment processor. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

For ongoing services (hosting, domain registration, AI chatbot subscriptions), invoices are issued in advance of the renewal period. Failure to pay within 14 days of the invoice date may result in suspension or cancellation of the service.

One-time project fees are quoted in advance. We require payment in full or as otherwise agreed in writing before work commences or upon delivery, as specified in the project quote.

4. Refunds

Domain registrations are non-refundable once the domain has been registered with the registry.

Hosting fees are non-refundable after the billing period has commenced.

For project work, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the stage of work completed. If you are unsatisfied with delivered work, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information when engaging our services, including contact details, domain registration information, and any content supplied for use on your website.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content, images, or materials you provide to us do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, and that you have the right to use and publish them.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorised access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.

6. Acceptable Use

Our hosting services may not be used to host, distribute, or transmit content that is illegal under Canadian law, including but not limited to: spam, malware, child exploitation material, or content that infringes on the rights of others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any hosting account that violates this policy without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment for a project, you own the final deliverables — including website designs and custom code — unless otherwise agreed in writing. We retain the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Third-party components (themes, plugins, stock images, licensed fonts) remain subject to their respective licences.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Internet76 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Uptime and Service Availability

We make reasonable efforts to maintain hosting uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including upstream provider outages or force majeure events.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing service with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, you are responsible for migrating your data. We will provide reasonable assistance with migration upon request.

We may terminate services immediately and without notice in the event of a material breach of these terms, including non-payment or acceptable use violations.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manitoba.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
